This is an original painting of Mimosas in a vase. The year of the fire house creates the symbol on the vase.
Like every year, my very first artwork is all about Mimosa.
Mimosa are the first trees blooming, even in the cold.
Although mimosa flowers are fragile, they can take root even in difficult terrain.
For this reason, they symbolise the female gender, which is capable of great determination.
In the Year of the Fire Horse, Mimosas blooms among flames.
Which is literally an implication what we are all going through at the moment.

Painted with Japanese watercolor, gouache, wax pencils and colored pencils.
Painted onto beautifully thick paper. 24 × 32 cm.
Frame is not included.
